Tmart 8G Classic White USB Flash Drive Review

June 17, 2013
By

tusb3

Ever hear of Tmart? I didn’t until recently when they asked me to review some of their products and they sent me over an 8gb USB flash drive. This drive isn’t any known brand, in fact it’s called the 8G Classic USB Flash Drive White with Grey, which is exactly what it is a white and gray colored 8gb USB flash drive, that name says it all really. The price for this drive is $8.03 and that’s with free shipping so that’s all you pay, is it worth it? Sure I guess, it’s not the fastest drive out there, but it’s not he slowest either. So read on for a quick review of it…

blah, blah, blah it’s Friday… and I’m so happy the weekend is here, all week I’ve been listening to workers right out side my window hammering, banging and yelling while working on that house. It’s so annoying, but whatever, I’ll have a two day reprieve… hopefully they don’t work on weekends!  Anyway, it’s time for the news so read it…

Noctua NH-U12S CPU Cooler Review

June 12, 2013
By

nocu7
Noctua is always innovating with new product designs and they’ve just introduced a new tower style cooler, the NH-U12S which is what I have for review today. This cooler is a thin design, it’s only 45mm deep which makes it ideal for using with performance style ram that utilizes large style heatspreaders as it doesn’t protrude over the ram slots of the majority of motherboards made today. The cooler utilizes the Noctua NF-F12 which is a 120mm forced focus fan that’s made specifically for use with CPU coolers. The NH-U12S can use one fan or you can purchase an additional fan for even more cooling performance, with one or two fans the NH-U12S runs virtually silent like most all Noctua products. I’ve put the NH-U12S up against several other coolers for comparison, and it performs very well indeed, so read on to learn more…

Sony PlayStation 4 Price at $399, Full Specs and Features Announced

June 11, 2013

SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT AMERICA LLC PS4

Yep, we’ve finally got our first look at the PS4, I don’t know about you but I want the PS4 and not the Xbox One… Price sort of factors into it, but also the used games thing too! Xbox One will do used games sort of, but PS4 will do used games with no strings attached. I just think the PS4 is a much better value overall. So Sony released a lot of info last night about the PS4, three rather large Press Releases and instead of posting them separately I decided to make just one large post for you..

Seagate BlackArmor NAS 220 6TB Network Attached Storage Review

June 8, 2013
By

The NAS box comes in many shapes, sizes and configurations and from my experience most all of them are very useful. Seagate is a huge storage company and it’s a just a logical next step for them to produce their own NAS box. Up for review today is the NAS 220, which is a 6tb NAS box, it has two Seagate 3tb drives inside of it in a default Raid 1 configuration for a usable capacity of 3tb which can be a lot. The NAS 220 can be utilized in the home or even an office where access to your files would be needed, either on your network or access while you’re away. The box itself is well made, it’s metal and it’s fairly small and compact overall. The NAS 220 shows some decent performance in my tests, but it’s much stronger on the read side of things. So read on to learn more…

Trident Aegis Case for HTC One Review

June 6, 2013
By

trident25_thumb.jpg

When you get a new phone you need a case for it, at least I do, my phones and other devices must be in cases and have screen protectors on them. They cost quite a bit of money so why not protect them? I prefer more of a rugged style case for my phones but I don’t want something that adds a lot of bulk either. Today for review I have the Aegis case from Trident that offers a great deal of protection but yet doesn’t add much bulk to the svelte HTC One. The Aegis case offers two layer of protection, an inner silicone or rubber layer and then a hard outer shell and when combines they offer a great deal of protection for the phone inside from the rigors of daily life. So read on to learn about one of the best cases out there for the HTC One…
