ArmourDillo Hybrid Protective Case for HTC One Review

April 26, 2013

When you get a new phone you need to protect it. Let’s face it, phones aren’t cheap, especially smartphones like my HTC One and you need to get a decent case for them. Today for review I have a case for the HTC One, it’s called the ArmourDillo Hybrid Protective case and it certainly will offer a lot of protection for the One.  The ArmourDillo case is double layered, it comes in two parts, a soft inner case and a harder outer section that also includes a built-in stand. The case does fit very well on the HTC One, it’s a nice tight fit and I like it, it should offer a lot of protection for the HTC One from bumps and drops.

Krusell Orbit with Multidapt / Swivelkit and CarHoldickit

So, when you get a nice phone, such as the Tilt that I have, the first thing you do is get a screen protector, the second thing to do is get a good quality case for that phone. When you go searching for a case for your phone you're going to find numerous choices, so many choices that it really can get confusing at times. In the end though you should choose a case on only a few main qualities like how well it protects your phone, the quality of these case, functionality and of course how it looks. In the end though you really won't know if any case suits your needs until you get it and use it for a while.

The case I've got for review today is the Orbit with Multidapt from our friends at Krusell , and I'll be honest, when I first got this case I didn't like it, but first impressions aren't always the best judge of a product like this. I've used this case everyday for the last three plus weeks and I've grown to love it, it offers excellent protection for my phone, accessibility to all of the functions and buttons, it's very well made, and it looks great. It's all of the things that you should look for in a case for your phone and then some.

Krusell also sent me their CarHoldickit as well to go with it, the CarHoldickit is part of their Multidapt system of holders where you can take the phone from your belt, the clip stays on your belt, and you can attach your phone elsewhere like your car dashboard as with the CarHoldickit. The Multidapt system offers many other types of clips as well, and depending on your lifestyle you can choose on or more that best fits your needs.

As I said in the beginning I didn't like this case, but now after using it I really do like it very much for everything it has to offer…

Boxwave Holster Clip

Following my review of the ATT Tilt I've got numerous accessories coming up for review as well. Our friends at Boxwave hooked me up with a nice 'care package' of great products for my Tilt.

First of the accessory reviews for the Tilt is a Holster Clip, it's basically a plastic enclosure that clips to your belt and allows easy access to your phone while still holding it secure. In my time with this product I found it to be outstanding in quality, durability and usability.

So read on to check it out and learn my impressions of it…

Boxwave FlexiSkin with Belt Clip Review

January 21, 2007
By

Boxwave has an excellent reputation for protective supplies for various handheld gadgets. They have been well regarded in the Palm community for many years. Boxwave is the maker of one of the best PDA screen protectors around; the Clear Touch Anti-Glare and Clear Touch Crystal lines. During the years I have owned many iterations of Palm products, starting with the Palm Professional to my current smartphone, the Palm Treo 700P. After having witnessed many friends shattered Palm devices, I understand the importance of keeping the Palm device in some sort of protective case or holster. Boxwave has sent DragonSteelMods.com the FlexiSkin with Belt Clip for testing. As the resident Palm user, Dracos has let me put this carrier through its paces. Lets get started.

Banana Cellphone Cover Review

September 30, 2006
By

Today for review I have something a bit on the lighter side, or humorous side. Technically it is a cellphone cover, or case, but this one is rather special… It is from a company called Cellfoam, and it is a foam banana that fits over your cellphone, yes it is rather goofy, but I just couldn’t resist reviewing it for the heck of it… It’s goofy, it’s fun, it’s the banana phone! Read on to see my banana…umm, see my banana cellphone cover…yeah that’s it….
