Speck TuckPack Review

Today’s
review item is a notebook-carrying sleeve from Speck called the TuckPack.  It appears to be a cross between a messenger
bag and a laptop sleeve.  The TuckPack is
designed t
o fit notebooks up to 13”.   It
comes in two styles, which are familiar to those who have or looked at Speck’s
CorePack Fly bags.

I have been looking for a low profile bag for ferrying my MacBook Air
around and the Speck TuckPack seems like it may fit the bill.

Otterbox Laptop Case Accessory Kit Review

April 16, 2008

If you need to protect your laptop, pda, cellphone or almost anything you'll want to check out the line of products from Otterbox , they offer quality, durability and protection from the elements as well. If you've got a rugged lifestyle, or just need good quality protection for your stuff, then Otterbox has got you covered.

I've got, in my opinion, the best laptop case on the market today, at least for protection of my laptop. The Otterbox 7030 Laptop Case protects my laptop from dust, dirt, water, shocks and even from being crushed but there isn't really any space to carry anything else with you but your laptop in the case, there are no pockets or anything like that. Recently Otterbox released an accessory kit for their 7030 Laptop Case, which allows you to now carry pens, pencils, business cards and documents easily inside your Otterbox 7030 laptop case.

It's a two piece kit that attaches with velcro to the inside of the lid of the case, the velcro makes it easy to install and remove if not needed. Having it in two parts is useful as well, you can grab the documents folder section and you've got a nice little carrier for your folders and papers. The second section holds your writing instruments and has a little pocket for business cards, both sections are made of durable nylon so they should last as long as the case. So now, not only will the 7030 case protect your laptop from the rigors of daily life but also your documents as well.

Tom Bihn Organizer Pouches

April 7, 2007
By

A few days ago I took a look at the Tom Bihn ID Messenger bag and the Brain Cell hard sided laptop case, today I have an optional product that compliments any Tom Bihn bag. (Actually it is three products, and in reality they can be used with any bag you own, or even without.) The products I have for review today are the Tom Bihn Organizer Pouches, they are very well made, and a cool thing about them is that they are made from the ‘scrap’ material left over from the manufacture of their main product line of bags. I have two of the cloth types, a medium and small size, and one that is very interesting, it is made from cork. They might be made from the ‘scraps’ but they are the same high quality that Tom Bihn is known for.

Tom Bihn ID Messenger Bag and Brain Cell Review

March 28, 2007
By

Everywhere you go these days you can see people carrying bags with their laptops in them. I’ve noticed that the more popular type is the Messenger style of bag, the kind that hangs off your shoulder, and that you’ll see the bike messengers carrying all around. There are many brands to choose from, and as with anything there are cheaply made ones and there are well made ones. Today for review I have one of the well made ones, actually very well made, it is the ID Messenger Bag from Tom Bihn. This bag can be a Messenger bag alone, or can also be a laptop carrying case with the addition of the Tom Bihn Brain Cell. So this is sort of a double review, of the Tom Bihn ID Messenger Bag and the Brain Cell laptop case. Read on to learn more about one of the best bags out there today…
