Unboxing
The PSU comes in a green box with a picture on it and some info listed. When you open the box you’re greeted with user guide and the PSU wrapped in plastic.
Once everything in unpacked you’ll see the PSU in plastic, user guide, screws and rubber gasket.
The rubber gasket is meant to dampen vibrations from the PSU to help keep your system quieter.
Here’s the PSU with all the cables for you, yes the cables are sleeved nicely. Obviously it’s not a modular PSU, everything is permanently attached.
The PSU comes equipped with a 140mm cooling fan with automatic thermal control so it speeds up and slows down as need be.
On one side you’ll see the Diablotek logo nice and large.
On the rear you’ll see the now common honeycomb style ventilation along with the main power switch and power connection.
On the other side is the identification label with voltages and other information. If we look closer at the label you’ll see the UL number which is E203359 and if you look it up in the UL database you’ll see that this power supply is manufactured by Great Wall Shenzhen China. Great Wall is one of the biggest power supply manufacturers in China. Many companies like OCZ, Sparkle and Diablotek are using them, sticking their label on and selling them as their own. Some people think Great Wall is good power supply company and others disagree.
Here’s the PSU with the cables spread out for you for a better look.
Here’s the front end I guess you could call it where the cables come out of the PSU, not much special there, just some small slits for ventilation.
So instead of listing all of the connectors, here’s a handy picture for you of what’s included:
Here’s some actual pictures of the connectors as well:
