When it comes to the iPod it's a great
product but I personally think the earbuds are pretty bad, I don't
care for the way they sound or the way they fit, I like true in-ear
style, the ones that come with the iPod just don't stay in my ears...
I personally have a couple nice pairs of earbuds that I use for my
MP3 players, but getting other pairs for review is nice as well
because I get a chance to try new things out.
Our friends at USBFever have sent me
over an interesting set of earbuds that work with the iPhone or iPod.
They're inexpensive, coming in at around $14 shipped, and what's nice
about them is that they have a remote control built in-line. This
remote control can not only play or pause your music but it can also
skip forward and backwards as well.

A
Better Look at Things:
The Stereo In-ear Earphone for
iPhone / iPod come in a bag and that's it, nothing special, but there
is another set of covers included in a separate smaller bag.

The cable is nice and long, these
have the one side is longer than the other style to them which can be
nice.

The buds themselves are plastic
with metal on them, they're mushroom style buds.

The in-line remote is triangular
in shape and has no markings on it at all, the top or button is
glossy and it all pushes in.

Installation,
Testing and Comparison:
I
used the Stereo In-ear Earphone for iPhone / iPod with my iPod nano
4th generation for testing.

The sound quality isn't bad, but
it's not great either, for the price though it's better than
expected, so that's a good thing...
Using the remote is easy actually
and it works well.
Press once to play or pause, click
twice to go to the next song and you can click three times to go
backwards to the previous song. The in-line remote is nice really and
it works.
