Page 2 of 4 A Better Look at Things:
First up the packaging, not much to it really, plastic front, cardboard backing. On the front you can plainly see the HDD Guard along with a few features listed.
The back of the package has a more detailed list of features and specs along with a few nice pictures. You can see the HDD Guard can essentially be used as a makeshift portable HDD enclosure as well, if you have the proper equipment.
The HDD Guard itself is made up entirely of silicone rubber, there are air holes on the bottom, while the top is almost fully open to allow you to read the label of the drive.
On the inside of the HDD Guard, along on the sides are silicone bumps that cushion your HDD, they act sort of like bubble wrap to protect your hard drive and its data.
One side of the HDD guard has a cut out section on it, that is the side where you HDD power and data connection would be so you can access it if need be. If you aren't going to be accessing it, you can just flip it around so the HDD guard will protect the ports from dust or whatever can get in there.
I just can't say enough about this product, it is just so cool. The HDD guards are also made to be stackable as well, they interlock if you have more than one of them together. Being it is made entirely of silicone it is very lightweight and seems to be very durable as it is rather thick actually.
