A Better Look at Things and
Installation Continued:
Up next is the HardSkin iPhone 3G,
which is the bruiser of the three cases reviewed.

This case provides the maximum
protection out of the bunch. Weighing in at 22.7 grams and composed
of a rubberized polycarbonate material, it protects the iPhone 3G,
while helping one maintain a good grip on the device. It is a two
piece case that snaps together sealing the iPhone 3G in its
protective shell.

The HardSkin iPhone 3G is not as
streamlined as the Flick iPhone 3G, yet is not too bulky. There are
silicone covers for the volume and hold buttons which are removable.
The headphone jack, mute button, camera and dock connector/speakers
are all accessible via openings on the HardSkin iPhone 3G. On the
sides, found at the midpoint are two indentations for improved
grip-ability.

The front has a large open area for the
screen with smaller openings for the earpiece and the Home button.
The back of the case has the Contour logo embossed at the bottom. On
the right hand side, one finds a recessed rectangular area which
opens the case with the use of a small coin or finger nail.

Finally, the iSee iPhone 3G is the
latest iteration in Contour Designs renowned iSee line.

With specs almost identical to the
HardSkin iPhone 3G, the iSee iPhone 3G is a clear version of that
case without the rubberized grip. All the other features are
identical including the silicone covers for the volume and hold
buttons.
