A Better Look at Things:
The In Car 2-in-1 USB and Charger for
iPhone / iPod arrives in a silver box. The device is sealed in a
clear plastic bubble wrap baggy.
The charger is composed of plastic and
and comes in black or white. The charger measures 7 x 2.5 x 2cm with
a cable length of around 1.5 ~ 1.8m. Input voltage ranges from
12-24V and has an output voltage of 5W (5V/1000mA).
 
In the center of the device is a
changeable car fuse to keep the device from damaging ones electronic
device.
Towards the rear is a standard sized
USB connector. At the very end, one finds the charging cable which
plugs into one of the numerous Apple idevices.
 
Installation, Testing and
Comparison:
I tested the In Car 2-in-1 USB and
Charger for iPhone / iPod with my iPhone 3G, iPod Video, and a Mio
GPS unit.
Plug in the standard USB connector into
the charger and then plug the charger into the cigarette lighter and
you are all set up.
 
 
The In Car 2-in-1 USB and Charger for
iPhone / iPod was able to simultaneously charge both devices.
