 ioSafe Rugged Portable Review

Today for review I’ve got one of the toughest and most
rugged hard drives on the market today. At least I think it is, or it’s
supposed to be according to the specs. The product is the ioSafe Rugged
Portable that features a 750gb hard drive in it.  The ioSafe is meant to fully protect your data
through the roughest conditions you could possibly think of. We’re not talking
carrying it in your bag either, this thing can be burnt, dropped, run over,
dunked in water, and you data will still be safe.

Thermaltake Contac 29 CPU Cooler Review

Today for review I’ve got a CPU cooler
for my Corei5 750 Socket 1156 CPU from Thermaltake called the Contac
29. This cooler truly surprised me in its performance, I put it up
against the Noctua NH-U12P and got virtually the same results in CPU
temperatures. The Contac 29 is an inexpensive cooler at $40, but it’s
well made and produces decent results. So read on to learn more…

Thermaltake BlacX Duet HDD Docking Station

A little while ago I looked at the
Thermaltake BlacX hard drive docking station, today I’ve got what
might be considered an upgrade to that, the BlacX Duet, The main
difference between the original and this version is that Duet can
hold, and allow you access to two hard drives at once time. This make
life much easier when transferring files between two drives. The Duet
can handle both 2.5” and 3.5” SATA drives and features both USB
and eSATA interfaces. So read on…

Arctic Cooling ARCTIC MX-3 Thermal Compound

Keeping our CPUs cool require two
components, not just the cooler itself. You could have the most
expensive cooler out there, but if you’ve got junk thermal compound
you might as well be using the stock cooler instead.

Today for review I’ve got Arctic
Cooling Arctic MX-3 thermal compound. The MX-2 version performed very
well and received many awards. Let’s find out how the new version
performs, I’ve put it up against four other compounds for
comparison…

Thermaltake Duo Orb CPU Cooler

Today for review I’ve got a good
looking and rather large CPU cooler, the Thermaltake Duo Orb. Having
such a large cooler in your system is nice as it works well, but
being so large I had to remove my 120mm exhaust fan for it to fit in
my case. The temps I got though are very good, read to see how it
compared to several others I’ve got on hand…

Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer CPU Cooler

There’s a huge selection of CPU coolers
available on the market today, and choosing one can be confusing at
best. The latest trend in CPU coolers is direct heatpipe cooling
where the heatpipes contact directly onto the top of the CPU cooler.
This system seems to work well, and with some cooler it does provide
a better cooling solution.

We haven’t taken a look at any CPU
coolers in a while, so today I’ve got the Sunbeam Core Contact
Freezer CPU Cooler for review. As the name suggests, the heatpipes
are in direct contact with the top of your CPU to supposedly provide
good cooling performance. The Core Contact Freezer is a lightweight
cooler that appears well made and offers up some decent performance
numbers when compared to other on the market today, so continue on to
learn more about this cooler…

Vizo Ninja HS Notebook Cooler

No matter what laptop you’ve got it
generates heat, it happens because the heat generating components
inside are packed so closely together, and as we all know, some
laptops get hotter than others.

Today I’m taking a look at the Ninja HS
Notebook Cooler from Vizo, it’s a very different sort of laptop
cooler than I have ever seen. It features adjustable fans that can
move from side to side and the entire fan assembly can move forward
and backward as well so you can pinpoint cool the hot spot on your
laptop. Does it work? Let’s find out…

Super Talent T800UX2GC4 DDR2 PC2-6400 800Mhz 2x1Gb Ram Review

Today I figured I’d post another ram review…

Up on the review block today is the Super Talent T800UX2GC4 DDR2 PC2-6400 800Mhz 2x1Gb Ram, I’m sure most people are familiar with Super Talent, they make quite a few products related to memory like USB Drives, SSD Drives and of course regular memory. The ram I have today from them is very sleek looking with it’s dark blue heatspreaders, but looks don’t mean much if it doesn’t perform, so let’s just jump right on in and see just how well it does perform…

Noctua NH-C12P CPU Cooler Review

Noctua NH-C12P CPU Cooler Review

Noctua is a name that is quickly becoming synonymous with quality cooling for your CPU and your system. They seem to always be researching and developing new and effective ways to improve their already great line of products, which only really benefits us, the end user. We should be thankful there are companies out there like Noctua that put the interests and needs of users first and foremost in their business model.

Today for review I’ve got something special, something that no one on this side of the ocean has yet actually, the Noctua NH-C12P CPU cooler. Noctua has honored us with the privilege of being their US launch partner for their new CPU cooler. The C12P continues Noctua’s tradition of striving for performance without sacrificing quality along the way. The C12P is like no other Noctua designed cooler to date, and not much like any other CPU cooler I’ve even seen actually. It incorporates six heatpipes into a short, fat style body that Noctua calls a ‘C-Type’ design with airflow gaps that allow cooling of the motherboard components as well. This design allows for a much higher compatibility with more motherboards and PC case configurations, where a tall CPU cooler won’t fit the NH-C12P will fit easily. The NH-C12P uses Noctua’s own NF-P12 120mm fan for cooling so you know it will be quiet as well. The Noctua NH-C12P is possibly the best cooler on the market today, from my testing and re-testing it beats all others I have for comparison, and that includes names like Thermalright, Scythe, Zalman, and OCZ. I was so surprised by the results of my testing that I re-did the testing all over again to be sure of my results, and they were the same, the NH-C12P is the new king of CPU coolers…

So, please continue on to learn more about what could possibly be one of the best CPU coolers on the market today…
