Diablotek PHD450 PHD Series 450 Watt Power Supply Review

Unboxing

The packaging looks nice, but there’s just something about the ‘smoke’ motif and a power supply that just doesn’t sit well with me. I just think smoke and computer power supply should not be mixed.

When you open the box you’ll be greeted with a rubber gasket and user guide and you’ll find the PSU wrapped in styrofoam for protection during shipping.

Once you get everything unpacked you’ll find the PSU, user guide, power cord, rubber gasket and accessory bag.

They did include a rubber gasket that goes around the back of the PSU to dampen vibrations.

In the accessory bag you’ll find the mounting screws and a couple zip ties for wire management.

The PSU has a 120mm fan built-in for cooling that’s made for efficient cooling and to keep things quiet.

On the back you’ll find the familiar honeycomb ventilation style along with the power switch and connector.

This PSU has the label on the bottom or top, whichever you want to call it. The label of course has the specifications of the PSU. Again we have the smoke theme going on here.

The cables are all sleeved for a nice presentation.

This PSU isn’t very powerful so you won’t find much in the way of connectors.  Here’s a handy chart for you and some pictures below:
