iMONO MiniSD + SIM Card Reader Review

Installation, Testing and Comparison

The included CD is labeled with the Vodaphone brand name, why I’m not quite sure as there is nothing really to do with Vodaphone on the disc itself.

Popping the CD in we get to the installation screen with an option to view the user manual as well.

The software is exactly the same as the other sim card reader I reviewed from Brando WorkShop

The SIM Card Editor software is very basic and it allows you to copy, edit, back up all your entries on your SIM card, it also allows you to view and edit SMS messages as well.

The SIM Card Editor software is very easy to use and it does include a brief ‘help’ option as well, that goes into great details about how to do what you need to do with your SIM card. The software is nice to be able to backup all your contacts if you don’t have a data cable for your phone, this way you’ll always have them no matter what.

Using this product is very easy, just pop in a card and plug into a free USB port and away you go.

One thing nice is that it can also double as a thumbdrive as well if you have an extra mini-sd card floating around.

The iMONO MiniSD + SIM Card Reader is a very easy to use and straight forward product, overall it is very well made and should last quite a while and be very useful to its owner. The only problem I can see is the keychain attachment, the metal chain is attached just to a thin plastic loop that I can see breaking very easily causing you to loose the device and possibly any card you have in it.
