So, yesterday we put up our little contest involving iPod cases, I figured today would be a good day to put up an iPod case review!
Today I’ve got a quick review for you, short and sweet of a silicone case for the iPod nano 4th generation. It’s from our friends at Budget Gadgets, and they’ve even given me a discount code to give to all of our readers good for anything on the site.
Product Name: Protective Silicone Case Skin Cover for Nano 4
Author: Kristofer Brozio
Sponsor: Budget Gadgets
Tech Specs,Features or the Basic Info:
Item ID: 3768
Size: 92x41x5mm, or 3.62×1.61×0.19in
NetWeight: 8g, or 0.28oz
Ok, as for packaging, there was none, it was shipping along with another case in a plastic bag. It’s red colored, it’s silicone and it fits the iPod nano 4th generation. Not much more to say…
Installation, Testing and Comparison:
Installation is fairly easy, being silicone it is a bit hard to get your iPod in it, but once it’s in there it won’t be coming out. The case fits very tightly on the iPod and offers good protection. There is no screen protector so you’ll have to get your own, no big deal as the glass is scratch resistant anyway… There are slots for a belt to pass through the case if you wish to carry it that way.
The bottom of the case is open to allow access to connections and the top has an open spot for the lock.
The case is rather thick so it should protect your iPod from bumps etc, it seems well made also.
Summary and Comments:
The Protective Silicone Case Skin Cover for Nano from Budget Gadgets is not only inexpensive, but it’s a great way to protect your iPod. The silicone is fairly thick so it should offer good protection from the daily rigors of life.
DragonSteelMods gives the Protective Silicone Case Skin Cover for Nano a 5 out of 5 score.
