The fifth generation iPod has never been officially named a “video” iPod by Apple.  It happens to be a video capable iPod.  It is believed that Apple will unveil the sixth generation iPod as the true video iPod.  Many speculate that it will have a similar appearance to the iPhone and will feature the touch screen that is the showcase feature of the iPhone.

Until the release of the next generation of iPod, there are still many great features to use with the fifth generation version.
