51 in 1 USB Slim Card Reader Review

A Better Look at Things

Ah yes the dreaded plastic clamshell packaging, but fear not, this is the easy open kind! Woopee! On the front of the package you can plainly see the card reader itself along with the name and the fact that it is USB 2.0 high speed.

The back of the package tells you the features and specs, but strangely does not list the cards it is compatible with. Upon closer inspection we find that this is actually a generic type of packaging for various types of card readers, so we now know why it does not list the types of cards it reads. Not a big deal, I’m all for saving packaging!

Opening the package up we find what appears to be a mini cd-r, but is really the driver disc. The card reader is there as well between the mini cd-r and the USB cable, from that I think you can get a good comparison of it’s size.

The 51 in 1 Slim USB Card Reader is made of plastic but covered with a soft rubber material, near the top is the Dtech logo, along with the types of cards it can read. This logo also light ups when powered on and in use.

The sides of the card reader are where you would put the cards into, each slot of identified as to what types of cards to put in it.
