Installation and Testing:

Since there isn't anything to really show you we've skipped the normal 'Better Look' section and just jumped right into the review. This is a software download so there is no box or anything like that.

Installation is standard easy to do, just like any other program out there.

Once installed, click the icon and up pops the first window where you can select the images you wish to watermark, you can do single images or batches if you wish.

here's the original image with no watermark, and once you select the images or images they will show in a small preview window off to the right of the user interface.

You have several types of watermarks you can use, and you can customize them with positions, size, fonts and transparency as well. You can even preview how your watermark will look before you process it to your pictures.

Once you select how you want you mark to look you'll move to the next screen where you can select where you want your new pictures to be output to and the output format of them. You have choices of JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP and GIF for the output format, this should be more than enough for most users.

Click the Start button and it the software will start to process your pictures, in a few seconds you're done and ready to work with your new watermark protected pictures.

Very simple, easy to use, and it does exactly what it should.

The only thing about this software is that I wish it had the option to overwrite the pictures if you wished to, at this point if you try and save tot he same directory where the original pictures are you'll gt an error. I guess this work well if you don't wish to overwrite your pictures, but as is if you don't want to keep the original pictures you'll have to go and delete them manually instead of just overwriting them with the watermark.

Other than that it works great.

Summary:

For the price of this software you really can't go wrong, it's extremely easy to use and very fast.

It might not be as advanced as other more expensive options out there today, but for the cost it does what it needs to do and it does it well.

There are quite a few options to choose from and available customizations for your watermarks, Bytescout Watermarking Software is a nice inexpensive options for quick and easy watermarking of your photos and media.
