VB M14 Spring Gun Sniper Airsoft Rifle Review

Unboxing

.

First up is the packaging as usual, the box is fairly plain, there’s a nice picture of the M14 right on the front, and there’s a little graphic box with some of the features listed under it.

As with the last rifle I reviewed, opening the box revealed a a partitioned stryofoam box with all the parts in their places.

Included with the rifle is a speed loader, bb’s, screws for mounting the tri-rail, the tri-rail itself, clip and gun cleaning/unjamming rod. Here’s where I ran into the first problem, the gun cleaning rod is missing the two ends, one should be a beveled end to help clear jams and the other should be slotted to hold a cleaning cloth, well none of the ends are there…

Here’s the gun itself, it is full sized, and it’s basically made of all plastic with a weight in the handle/butt of the gun.

The butt of the gun features a semi-padded rubber textured end, and a clip for mounting an optional sling.

The pistol grip of the rifle is textured as should be to keep a good grip.

This gun is a single shot, spring gun, so every time you fire you have to pull the handle back to cock the gun and load a round into the chamber. There is a fair amount of tension on the spring so it can be difficult and tiring after many rounds.

The rear sight is adjustable for better accuracy and it’s all metal.

Cocking the handle back reveals the inner workings, or at least a peek at them.
