VB M14 Spring Gun Sniper Airsoft Rifle Review

Installation of Tri-rail and Critiques:

I found that I like the M14 Sniper Rifle much better with the Tri-rail mounted, it feels better and it seems to even the weight out. The tri-rail is slid onto the top of the gun and attached with a single screw.

Here’s a few more shots like those I showed you earlier from different angles, but these have the tri-rail installed, the gun does look much better and the tri-rail features grooves for sighting as well.

Here I have the M14 after I attached a sling to it, just to give you an idea:

Ok before I get to the five movies I have for you there’s couple things I’d like to point out about this gun, yes I’m going to be critical because I have to be…

The M14 is not very accurate over long distances, even with numerous adjustments I really couldn’t hit smaller targets. Now if your playing war games then this shouldn’t be too much of a problem as people are fairly large targets.

Still though I found the M14 not to be very consistent when firing bb’s, what I mean is I could have it nice and sighted in, with the gun resting on something and the bb’s would just fly out, right, left, up or down for no reason. I could see the bb leave the barrel at an awkward angle and I just knew I wasn’t going to hit my target…

My next complaint would have to be the clip, it feels very cheaply made, as I was loading it I actually felt it bulging like it was going to burst in my hand, it’s just a bit to cheaply made for my tastes, like if I dropped it it would shatter and be unusable.

The gun itself is not very balanced at all, it is very heavy in the back and almost no weight toward the front, yes the tri-rail does add an ounce or two but not enough to balance the gun out really, it’s just very heavy in the back. Also, whatever weight they used in the stock of gun doesn’t seem to be attached inside the gun, it moves around and can be a bit annoying…

Ok, next page for the movies…
