The Noctua NH-L9i certainly performs well for its size. This cooler is what you would call a niche product, but it’s one that’s needed in that there aren’t many high quality CPU Coolers for small systems.

Noctua has made a cooler that will fit just fine in even the smallest SFF or HTPC systems, it’s one that cools well yet won’t add any additional noise to your system.

Installation of the NH-L9i couldn’t be simpler, the mounting hardware and fan are already attached for you, you just need to add thermal compound and use the included screws to attach it to your motherboard.

The NH-L9i isn’t for everyone obviously, but those that need a small cooler now have a decent choice when it comes to keeping their system and CPU cool and quiet.

We’ve come to expect high quality and good performing products from Noctua, and the NH-L9i keeps with that tradition but giving you another option when it comes to small form factor systems.
