Mionix Propus 380 Gaming Mousepad Review

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the mousepad is
one of those things that many people take for granted or overlook actually.
It’s one of those things that people just don’t seem to care about. People have
come to understand that a good mouse and a good keyboard can enhance their
computing experience but then they’ll still use that cheap free mousepad. A
good mousepad is not only good for gaming but for also everyday use. I’ve
tested many pads in my time and the technology seems to be getting better and
better with new combinations of materials being used to create an excellent
mousing surface.

Mionix has sent me over their new gaming mousepad called the
Propus 380 and it’s big, I like big pads though so it’s a nice fit for me. The
pad is unique looking in both its shape and aesthetic looks with a flake
metallic surface. The pad is certainly one of the best I’ve come across and
it’s inexpensive as well.

ARTISAN KAI.g3 HIEN - SOFT Gaming Mouse Pad Review

Today for review I’ve got another
product from Grow Up Japan, yes it’s another mouse pad, but this one
is soft surface pad, the last one I looked at was a hard surface. I
have to admit I’m impressed by the quality of these pads so far from
this company. The one I have today though is small, a bit too small
for my tastes, but the quality is still there.

ARTISAN KAI.g3 HIEN Gaming Mouse Pad Review

When you think of mouse pads you
normally don’t think of Japan do you? A company called
Grow
Up Japan
recently contacted me about reviewing
a few of their products and of course I said yes.

Today for review I’ve got something
direct from Japan, a mouse pad, or to be more specific a gaming mouse
pad. The name is something I couldn’t tell you how to pronounce, but
I don’t think I need to know that to use it and neither do you right?
I work using a computer for a living and I’ve found that a good mouse
pad is something you must have, and yes there is a difference between
inexpensive and expensive pads. I’ve got to say I’m impressed by this
pad, I like it and will continue to use it for some time. Read on…

Mionix Alioth 400 Mousepad

Mionix? Ever hear of them? Probably not
unless you’re over on the other side of the pond, they’ve been around
for a couple years now, based out of Sweden actually. Mionix
specializes in gaming accessories like mice and mousepads, but they
are expanding their lineup as well. They’ve recently come to be
available here in the United States and from my experience so far
with their products, I think they’re going to do well.

Today for review I’ve got another
mousepad, yep a mousepad, not too exciting to most, but I personally
like getting them for review because I’ve found they can be greatly
different from each other. The one I have for review today is called
the Alioth 400 and it’s from Mionix. It’s a fairly large sized pad,
coming in at 400mm x 335mm or about 15” x 13” in size. In my time
with this pad I’ve come to like it very much, it’s nicely made and
offers a surface that tracks perfectly with every mouse I used with
it. So read on to learn about a very good mousepad…

Zowie P-RF Mousing Surface

Hey look, this is review number 600 for
us! Wow, 600 reviews in 4 ½ years, not bad. So how are we
celebrating 600 reviews? We’re not right now… Maybe later we’ll have
some sort of giveaway but as of right now there’s no time for
celebrations. It’s about time to upgrade our hosting I think, and do
a little re-design or so, a few tweaks here and there I think. So be
patient as things will be changing and there may be some down time
within the next couple weeks or so, it all depends how much time I’ve
got to spare.

Today for review I’ve got the Zowie
Gear P-RF mousepad or mousing surface, yesterday we looked at the
Ulti-mat Breathe F-X3, so I figured why not follow with another pad
review. The P-RF is a small pad, but not too small, a bit larger than
a standard sheet of paper really, coming in at 13.4 x 11.4 inches.
The P-RF features a rubber non-slip backing and it has a water splash
proof surface, not sure exactly what that means though. Anyway, read
on to learn more…

Ulti-mat Breathe F-X3

I’ve taken a look at a few Ulti-mat
brand mousing surfaces and for the most part they’re fairly decent
overall, but not perfect. Today I’ve got their newest pad called the
Breathe F-X3 and it’s similar to the other Ulti-mat pads I’ve looked
at in that it’s cloth and has a non-slip backing to it, but the F-X3
is larger than the others. I’ve tested it with three mice I’ve got on
hand, so read on to learn more about it…

XTracPads Logic Hard Surface Mousepad

It’s been a while since I’ve taken a
look at any mousepads hasn’t it? Well today I’ve got a very new type
of mousepad from our friends over at XtracPads. The pad is called the
Logic, and it’s not what I would call a pad at all, when you think of
pad, you think thick and soft really. The Logic is paper thin, it
features a hard surface, but yet you can essentially fold it in half,
or almost in half, folding it will crease it. The Logic features an
adhesive backing so you can literally stick it in place and it won’t
move from where you put it. So read on…

Ulti-mat: Breathe X3 Mousepad

Over the last few days I’ve taken a look at two pads from Ulti-mat, and they were decent products overall. Today for review I’ve got another mousepad from Ulti-mat, the Breathe X3, a large sized all cloth pad.

Ulti-mat: Solid X3 Mousepad

Yesterday I looked at the Ulti-mat
Seven mousepad, today I’ve got another from Ulti-mat, the Solid X3.
This pad is much larger, almost double the size of the Seven, and
it’s very different all around as well. The Seven was very slick and
smooth, the Solid X3 is a smooth surface, but yet offers quite a bot
of resistance. The Solid X3 is a cloth and plastic style pad, it has
a plastic surface but yet still remains flexible.

Ulti-mat Seven F-X2 Mousepad

Ulti-mat Seven F-X2 Mousepad

Most people don’t think of mousepads
when they’re upgrading their computers, or even using them really, I
know many people that just use their desktop and no pad at all.
Personally I’ve come to realize that there is such a thing as a good
mousepad, and there are differences between them, surfaces, sizes,
and brands. A good mousepad can make a big difference between a good
computing experience and a not so good one. You can get pads in many
sizes, shapes, colors and materials, which you’ll choose depends on
your own personal preferences.

Today for review I’ve got the Ulti-mat
Seven F-X2 for review, it’s a smaller mousepad, made for those with
limited space on their desktops. Just because you don’t have much
room on your desktop though doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have the
luxury of using a high quality mousepad. The Seven F-X2 is an
excellent choice for a mousepad, it’s well made and very slick, my
mouse just glides across it effortlessly.

Ulti-mat is company that honestly I
hadn’t really heard of until they contacted me about reviewing their
products, and I’m happy they did, they’re sent me three pads to test
out, and so far the two I’ve tried are excellent, in both quality and
usefulness.
